A little bit about myself!

Hello, my name is Daniel Barbosa (I also go by Danny) and this will be my second semester at CSN! I am 19 years old and I currently work full-time for Centennial Toyota specifically in scheduling for the service department. I have worked with Centennial Toyota since I graduated so I've been with them for a little over a year now! I am also a full-time student here at CSN I have 4 classes and a lab so 5 total classes. I graduated High school in May of 2023, from Northwest Career and Technical Academy with my program area being Mechanical Technology. I love cars I personally do love to work on and do all of the regular maintenance for the family vehicles as well as my own vehicle. I currently own a 2023 Honda Accord (I know it's ironic that I work for Toyota but own a Honda) and I enjoy adding aftermarket parts to my vehicle. In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends or go to the gym. I usually spend about 2 hours a day at the gym usually going about 5 days a week depending on how busy life becomes.

  1. Working full-time while being a full-time college student is not something many people can handle!

Glad to hear this is your second semester at CSN :-)

    Welcome to IS101-3004, Fall 2024, Danny ^_^

  2. Hello Daniel, I also have a brother named Daniel. But I call him Danny not like his friends, that call him Daniel. I also like going to the gym with my. mom. She has sort of made that a hobby of mine, since my car accident. The gym has been a huge source of my recovery. There is still loads of work for improvement, but I'm not stopping and giving up. School has also been a really big factor for my improvements. I don't go to therapy, I didn't think that it helped me much. My mom was playing therapist for me. :)

  3. Hi Daniel,
I admire how many classes your taking at CSN and hope you do very well in all of them. I'm not very much of a car person and I fear I'm gonna be very clueless when I am financially ready to buy one but for right now I love listening to people express their love for them. I also graduated in 2023 and have been in school sense then so I'm hoping I can be done within a year.

  4. Hi Danny! I love how you spend your spare time. In my case, I do not go to the gym, but I do workouts at home whenever I have time, and I also love running and walking in the park. It is my way of healing whenever I am stressed or whenever I want to breathe fresh air.

  5. Hi Danny! I also love cars, I'm more of a classic type of person though. I currently am fixing up my 1978 Super Beetle, unlike you though, I'm not really equipped to do my own maintenance.

  6. Hi Danny! We're Honda family! I have a 2015 Honda Fit that I road race and my boyfriend has a 2015 Honda SI. He has a built engine and I'm working on getting mine there. Working on cars is an expensive hobby but a very therapeutic one! Nice to meet you! :)

  7. Hello Daniel!
I'm very clueless when it comes to cars, but I'm planning on getting a Honda once I have enough saved up since I've heard they are one of the most reliable cars. Having hobbies outside of work and school is very important, I'm glad you're able to make time for them!

  8. Hello Danny!
I think that it is interesting that you work at a car dealership and would be interested in being more informed because I have a brother that works at Jeep Only on Sahara.

  9. Hey Danny, that's got to be rough going to school full-time at CSN and working full-time at Centennial Toyota, but it's cool that you make it all work anyway. Well, its really awesome you love cars. Your Honda standing out amongst the Toyotas is funny. I have an Accord as well, albeit a little older as it is a 2005. I wonder the difference over the years with the technology. Also good with keeping your gym time, what with such a jam-packed schedule.

  10. Hello Danny, I share your knowledge of the automotive industry through motorcycles as I'm a graduate of the MMI class of 2011 as I've been more drawn to motorcycles than to automobiles.

  12. Hello Daniel, I'm very happy to see you are balancing being a full time student and working full time at the same time. Its a very difficult task to do, I know because I have tried it.

  14. Hello Danny. Being a car enthusiast and gong to the gym are two of my favorite activities as well. Although you couldn't tell from the notches in my belt. Working full time and taking classes full time is a lot of work. I wish you luck in your endeavors. One of my favorite classic cars is the 69 Corvette Stingray T Top.

  19. Hi Danny, I recently bought a a Toyota Camry from the Centennial Toyota. It was a very nice experience even though it can be overwhelming to buy a car. The staff at the dealership made it easier, it was very nice.
